And So The Adventure Begins! La Casa Del Podere

It is quite incredible how time passes. At times it may crawl at a snail's pace, and other times race.

It is hard to believe that we have been home from this long yearned for holiday over a week now. It is just a memory fadeing all too fast. One that will be only looked back on by the rememberance of wonderful events and the thousands, yes, I said thousands, of photographs taken to capture the moments.
Steve took a camera along also, this helped with the waiting upon "Her Highness" slowing and stopping to take impressions that delighted her eyes. So now we have double the photos!!

We were a group of four couples. friends together and enjoying a foriegn land and a foriegn people.
Our Friends, Max and Anita had been planning this trip to Italy for some time, and the more we takled about it , the more I yearned to go along and experience the terre'.
The farmhouse that they rented was plenty big enough for another couple, so quickly we made plans to join them.

On October 2, off we flew to Bologna, and the farm house outside our new little town of Zocca.

It is incredible that you can have a map and a destination and be so incredibly unaware where you are, and drive around following somewhat clear directions, and find the exact spot where you are to be.

When we saw our friends at the wedding a few days before, we said our goodbyes knowing that the next time we saw each other, it would be in this magical spot!

Sure enough regardless of our wrong turn out of the airport, we made it and arrived safe and sound, and they were there too!

Here are a few pictures of the farm house, Casa del Podere Podere.
Built in a hamlet in the mountain region of Modena.
