This looks delicious - before I dive in please tell me what it is ;-)
Chestnuts!!
You boil them for about 30-45 minutes and then cool them and peel them.
They taste like toasty potatoes.
You can also roast them by an "open Fire". and they "Pop,Pop,Pop"!
